Their biggest differences are in their size and powertrain options. While both the Ford Super Duty F-250 and F-350 come standard with a 6.2-liter SOHC V8 engine, the F-450 comes standard with the 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel engine. If you'd like more power you can upgrade your F-250 or F-350 to the diesel engine, if you'd so desire. The F-250 is quite heavy, at about 3/4s of a ton, but as you go up so does the weight, towing and hauling capabilities, and price range.
